The idea: I have a bunch of friends. Who mostly don't know each other, and hang out in separate groups. And are all cool, and reasonably geeky. And great fun.
Also, I want to see people. And the holidays will be coming along very soon, which means that people are going to be going every which way, and this is Very Annoying for people who want to see other people and can't seem to manage during the semester.
Therefore. Holiday party. I'll cook - there will be food. If people want to bring stuff, feel free, but it's not required. Show up anytime during the evening. Chat, hang out, be geeky, be fun, entertain me, etc.
Probable date: December 17th. Who would be somewhat interested? Is there anyone who REALLY wants to be there but can't make it? (Would anyone prefer the 18th?) Let me know. Really. Absolute confirmation will be posted later, but... let me know?
