Jun. 7th, 2007 12:01 pmI want a kitten.
I may actually get a kitten. I now make enough to afford upkeep on two cats (those beasts can get EXPENSIVE, especially if they need special food!), and I think a second cat would be good for Alec. He likes company (my own fault for choosing an emotionally dependant cat, really), and I'd rather like two beasties. Also, I can't have a dog.
Side-note: My cat is currently having a vacation in the country, since I am moving and working lots and couldn't deal with boxes, moving, work, AND the cat in the middle. He is apparently quite happy, has been sleeping curled up with the dogs, and enjoys catching country mice. However, he doesn't seem to have a clue what to DO with the mice once he's caught them - I'm told he seems quite puzzled as to why they keep moving once he's caught them, and so he pounces on them, backs away, pounces again... until someone comes along and rescues the poor mouse and puts it outside.
