foi_nefasteSo, I got in around 2 last night (this morning, whatever you want to call it...).
And I leave for Italy tomorrow morning.
So this will be short.
Alberta was great, and I'm rather fond of it. Various plans are being pushed around; I'm rather hoping things work out well.
In the meantime, I saw a few friends today (mostly last-minute 'hey! I'm here! for 24 hours! D'you have any time to spare?' type of calls, followed by dashing out and meeting people. Pretty good, really. Sorry to anyone I DIDN'T manage to see - I'll be back on the 7th of August.
Also, my cat is adorable, and is currently rolling around on the floor like someone is petting his belly (only no one is, so really, he just looks kind of cute and somewhat insane, which is a valid state for a cat).
The apartment is, as of now, being sublet to someone my roommate says has blue hair (which is my only frame of reference for him, as I've not met him. He is therefore blue-haired guy.) I will have spare bookcases (one huge, two small) that I will not be needing, should anyone currently be looking for some. Let me know.
There. Off now. Laundry to finish, followed by packing, and hopefully at least a little tiny bit of sleep. And then I get to spend the next two weeks in Italy. With my sister. Who has turned into a sarcastic little ... Yeah. She's great like that.
