Jun. 20th, 2003 03:00 pmI've realized that I haven't updated in ... damn... over a week.
Though I do have a reason for that... namely, that I haven't been home in a week, and thus, that I've been away from my computer. I'm addicted to this thing, I swear... I've felt disconnected from everything, and then I got home and got online and everything was fine. News, friends, stories, reading material... all wonderful, and all online. Something tells me that this isn't quite healthy, though...
In the past week, I've ... seen Melanie once (which really isn't enough). I also went to a few bookstores, including one that had used books on sale at very reasonable prices, and so I brought home 27 new books. Does anyone else here have any clue how heavy those things are?! I thought I was going to collapse! I also spent a while at my grandparent's, being as my granddad's just gotten out of the hospital after his fourth heart attack in 2 years. I love them both and all that, but there's no way I can manage to put up with them for more than two days. Right-wing bigots, in the fundamentalist-Christian way. Ick.
So, now then... I woke up with a migraine this morning, and, since no medicine seems to be working, I think I shall head back to bed and attempt to sleep it off. Hopefully, this will happen before my skull splits in two. I loath headaches.
