Apr. 13th, 2005 03:04 pmI handed in my last Canadian Lit essay today.
I don't have a final for that class.
I am thus officially done the Rape Scenes in Canadian Literature Obsession. (Which, ugh. I was really sick of those damned rape scenes...) I'd celebrate, but I pulled an all-nighter getting that essay finished, and, at this point, I'm shivering, and freezing cold, and absolutely exhausted. I'm voting for fetching food, and then curling up on the couch and watching some Buffy until the construction across the road is finished (another two hours, say), and then I can crawl into bed and sleep until noon tomorrow. There's something to be said for more than 16 hours of sleep in a row. And lack of rape scenes. Because when I start dreaming about the rape scene I was reading about before going to bed, and, in the dream, I'm just looking on and going 'I wonder how I'd write about this', it's time to get as far away from that class as is humanly possible.
