Apr. 25th, 2005 02:00 amIn my last (I hope) LJ-spam of the evening... I'd like to say that spending a few hours writing up review letters for medical protocols that need grammar more than sense brings about a curious sense of detachment. I've been contemplating the nature of curry for the past few minutes, for example. Probably not conductive to getting my arse off to bed soon, but still more important than this. Yes gods, but I dislike paperwork almost as much as I'm starting to dislike schoolwork (although, compared to this semester's CanLit, paperwork is a direct gift from whatever benevolent deity you believe in).
Also, my cousin gave me a ride to Montreal after The Reunion today (well, yesterday now). Had an interesting conversation about politics - he was gritting his teeth over comments made about Quebec independance, I was gritting my teeth over the 'gay marriage' thing - witness bitching in previous post. It seems that I'm not the only leftist in the family, which is nice... And we might eventually actually manage to get together and talk, which wouldn't be bad, since we work a few blocks from each other. Also, I kinda rediscovered this really fun French band, and I want the CD. I'm thinking a selfish, self-indulgent, post-exam treat of a CD wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, right...
