May. 24th, 2005 12:13 pmLooking out my bedroom window, I can see the top floor of the condos a block away. And, y'know, there's something very appealing about the idea of living that high up - 7th or 8th floor, max, but just the idea of being above the buildings around me, seeing space... I didn't really care so much before, since there was a vacant lot in front of my apartment, so there was, in a random sense, visual space. but now... apartments have been built, and its all feeling very warren-like. If I'm making any sense at all. So, yes. If I ever decide that I'm masochistic enough to want to move (give it a few years, at least - moving is a hassle and a half), higher up would be fantastic.
Also, I still have over 40$ of credit for some books I returned to Indigo. I'm thinking of some novels, maybe an art book I've been drooling over... I'm stopping by tonight after my writer's circle meeting. 'cause, yay. Sitting on a comfy couch, with a pile of books, skimming through them and narrowing it down to a few fantastic-looking ones... its sounding better and better. I love shopping for books, I really and truly do.
That said, I want this work to be done before I have to get to the meeting. And the people who wrote this? Have no flaming clue what grammar is. I stand by my previous complaint about illiterate baboons.
