(no subject)

Oh, this is lovely - I got a phone call from The Idiots, who decided that getting together a bunch of doctors, lawyers, and business people, in one room, on 4 days notice, was impossible. Congratulations. I'm so proud that they've noticed that. *snort* Consequently, that Tuesday morning meeting is going to be a phone conference thing. Which means that I've got one less yo-yo-type trip to make, and so I am happy. 'cause driving for 3 hours for an hour-long meeting to cover issues that could have been covered during the LAST meeting if someone had done their job properly... not so tempting, y'know. On the annoying side, since that 'someone else' didn't do their job, it seems that I'm the one who has to sort through the Crap-That-Is-The-Protocole and get it finished before Saturday evening. Charming, innit?

Also, I'm going to see Batman tonight, and I'm really looking forward to it. 'cause... despite everything, I do really love Batman. (Next on the comic-wish-list: A Hellblazer movie that isn't mutilated to within half an inch of it's life.)

Oh, and I found my mom's birthday present. Go me.
