I would like to point out that, for once, I got the amount of work done that I thought I'd get done. Because someone else had done their job in managing to write the document properly in the first place, thus leaving me to do the work I had to rather than spend hours correcting theirs. And so. Grammar was what it should be. There were sentences. With structure. And punctuation. Punctuation that was in the right place. There were headings before each paragraph. Headings that matched the paragraphs. Oh, miracle of miracles.

How utterly shocking. After working for 9 months at this, I finally ran into one competent writer.

... and yes, I'm aware how sad this sounds.

Also, I cooked for supper. Noodles with permesan, basil, and tomatoes (really really good). And fresh carrots and potatoes and string beans with parsely. All of which, I might add, were fetched from Marché Jean-Talon yesterday. I'm having fun with this cooking-thing. I like it a lot. And, since The Roommate seems to like having me cook, I guess this is working out rather well.

Blueberry pie tomorrow. Along with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And a bit of work, of course, but that can be ignored for a wee bit.

I went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with [livejournal.com profile] hyperallergina and [livejournal.com profile] maidenofirisa tonight. Imax. I was really quite impressed. I like Johnny Depp, to start with - I think he's an amazing actor. And his performance was rather reminiscent of his Edward Scissorhands, but, since I actually loved that movie... not a problem. I am rather annoyed at how they made Wonka's childhood issues into an issue - they're not in the book, they're not in the first movie, and they're not entirely relevant. And the last ten minutes of the film entirely screwed over the movie (for anyone who was a big fan of the book-version). So, yeah. Great movie. Minus the last ten minutes. But certainly worth seeing. Wow.

And... The Poster was seen. For X3. We squeed, probably made complete fools of ourselves, and quite probably exasperated [livejournal.com profile] hyperallergina. But... soon! Soon! And Narnia! And the fourth HP movie! Squee!

And I made blueberry pie this afternoon, and ohmyfuckingGOD it was good.

And now, I have been sent off by my roommate. With the direct orders of "Go. Write me porn." ... It's probably a good thing we live together.

Aparently we're missing two episodes of Gravitation.

Tuesday night work for you guys?

Say, at my place, around 8-ish (as usual)?

Would that work for everyone?
