My sister is sleeping on the futon. Which is in the living room. And there is no door between the living room and my bedroom. So, when she talks in her sleep, I can hear her (and, y'know, be entertained). She's talking to a friend of hers at the moment, and seems to be getting more and more exasperated... which, asleep, seems to translate well to 'petulant brat' in terms of tone-of-voice.

... Also, she'd kill me for posting this here. *shrugs* Probably a good thing she doesn't have an LJ, and doesn't read mine. For multiple reasons, come to think of it.

It might also be a good idea to get to bed. Which I seem to be having a problem with, lately - sleep just doesn't seem all that appealing, compared to novels or movies or all those fabulous non-essay-related things I suddenly have time to pay attention to. Oh, and Neal Stephenson's The Big U, up till now, is brilliant, and describes university administration to an entirely creepy degree. Read it.

Also, if you type 'miserable failure' into Google, the first link is to a biography of Bush. ... I'm finding this altogether entertaining.

And my sister is now mumbling something to the dog. Which would make sense if the dog was somewhere near here. Sleep-talking is vey funny for anyone around, I imagine...
