Dec. 29th, 2005 01:37 pmFor the record: my computer is an idiot. Seriously. It was working perfectly fine when I went to bed last night. And now, it won't play sounds, and is telling me that I have no sound devices installed. I'm annoyed, to say the least. What the hell?
Moving on, though... Christmas was fun. In a way. I'm rather glad to be home, though - there are advantages to being away from one's parents, siblings, and extended family. Also, if my mother looked at my cousin's baby with That Look on her face one more time while mentioning grandchildren, I was going to run screaming. Dear god. *shudders* On the plus side, though, my boyfriend was there with me - and a nice break from the endless family bs. I'm rather fond of having him around, so that worked out fairly well. Also, the kids were quite sweet, and my immediate family seemed to be making an effort to be pleasant. Still... it IS nice to be home.
