Y'know that work I'm meant to be doing this week? Because I'm surrounded by idiots who can't get their documents to me in a timely manner? And that week I'm supposed to spend in Sherbrooke? Yeah. Well. The Boss has called another committee meeting for next week (damned annoying, since they're usually every TWO weeks, and we can rely on having at least a week's grace). Next week, during the time I was SUPPOSED to be at my mom's. So. I'll be going up to Sherbrooke on Sunday for father's day, since my grandad... well, he's not doing so well (apart from the 4th heart attack and the bronchitis that lasted two months, there's a lump in his lungs that's growing. So, yeah) and I want to spend time with him. Back to Montreal Monday evening. Meeting Tuesday morning at 7 (insert swearing here). Back to Sherbrooke on Tuesday evening. Back to Montreal for St-Jean on Friday. Sherbrooke on Saturday, Mom's birthday on Sunday, and back to Montreal on the Monday after that for the next commitee meeting on Tuesday. *sigh* Each trip is about 2 hours. One way.
... people? Can I borrow some CDs, maybe? So that I'll survive the multiple trips with my mind somewhat intact?
Also, the rain is really beautiful, and it makes a nice sound when it falls against the window.
