And, in the Grand Tradition of Tuesday Morning Posts... I work with idiots. No, really. I mean it. Although this time there wasn't a specific incident of idiocy, it was more of an overflow of complete cluelessness. Which, for people who're supposed to know what they're talking about, is kind of frightenig. (Also, it took 15 minutes, two doctors, 3 lawyers, and a nurse to figure out how to turn on the heat in the room. The answer being 'turn the dial that's on the side of the heater'. ...I'm impressed. No, really, I'm impressed.)

Furthermore, it strikes me that referring to HIV as a 'disease' or people who have it as 'sick patients' isn't altogether accurate. It's a condition that makes people more affected BY diseases, but it's not a disease in it's own right, eh? And the people involved aren't necessarily 'sick' in the conventional sense. And lessons in political correctness might be appreciated, too (one of the people referred to a clinic as 'it's in THAT PART of town' as a reason for the doctors to be specialized in HIV treatments. Erm... perspective, if you please).

In conclusion: idiots.
