Aug. 22nd, 2005 03:38 pmMy cousin finally came over. You know, the cousin that’s only ever been over during family reunions for the past five years ? The one who was supposed to be there at noon yesterday ? He got there at 4 :30, no phone calls, no appologies. At least he was there before I got home, ‘cause I would have bitchslapped him otherwise - he’s the reason I couldn’t go for lunch in case he got there early while my parents were gone. Oh, joy.
However, he DID give me and my brother a ride to Montreal today. And my brother is being a complete darling - I took him to the planetarium early this afternoon (his request), and then wandered back here so I could frantically type up something before tomorrow mornings meeting. Meanwhile, he kidnapped my DVD player and Season 2 Buffy - I'm so proud. :)
Oh, and that CanLit Rape-Scenes class? I FINALLY got around to checking my grades... And I got a b+. Which, y'know, fairly good for a class so damn insignificant and stuck in postmodernism, with a prof who disliked me, and only A Certain Person in the class making it even worth going. And also, y'know, given the amount of classes I kinda sorta skipped...
