Mar. 31st, 2004 11:04 pm'm writing a really interesting paper about the cultural influence of french courtesans. Bloody marvelous women, they were. Fascinating stuff.
However, my 'friend' seems to have given me a cold. In the severe sense of the definition. Includes a blocked nose, headache, stomach ache, sore throat, and a very interesting fever. I'm feeling rather stoned due to the effects of the last. That being the case, I think I'd best head to bed after taking some advil. And eucalyptus tea, if only to give myself the illusion that I'm capable of breathing.
Oh, and head back to reading Barnfield's sonnets. Because they're fascinating. And, due to a recent string of comments, I might also go back and read Michelangelo's sonnets. Just because.
