Jun. 7th, 2004 10:53 pmI'm at my parent's place. Internet is s-l-o-w. In other words, this will be a really short post.
My parents are now watching the movie my brother rented. X-men 2. My parents. The world is turning on it's side. Or something.
Harry Potter is cool, in it's own way. They've completely screwed over the Slytherins, of course, but what else is new. Grrr.
I'll be at my parent's for the summer, finally. Au revoir, techie toys. Au revoir, high-speed internet. Au revoir, time to read. *sigh* This should be a challenge. If nothing else, I'll learn how to string improbably-connected swear-words together. Joy. As if I really needed more experience with that...
To anyone awaiting feedback (yes, Carioca and Pip, I mean you) it'll be there Wednesday, when I finally get back to my apartment, civilization, and decent-speed internet without people looking over my shoulder when I read. Because there are some things I do NOT wish to explain to my parents. Your writing is among them.
I am SO bringing my computer with me this summer. So, so, so. I need some techie-toys. And yes, I'm a complete geek. I do hope that's not news for anyone. I also read comic books, enjoy graphic novels, and avoid mindless chick-flicks (the type my sister likes, say) like the plague. Or at least like rabid mosquitoes.
