Right. Flattery for people I barely know. Now this, I can do. Especially since I'm supposed to be writing an Atwood essay.

[livejournal.com profile] sandman7 is a wonderful conversationalist. I met him at a NaNo meeting, where we ended up having a fairly long talk about fantasy novels. He's indulgent toward certain mistakes *cough*Lackey!angst*cough* as long as the story is worth it, and can give great book suggestions. He's well-read, and funny, and writes an interesting serial that I've got to find time to continue reading. Also, he exclaimed "Oh my god, she's half my age!" when he found out when my birthday was (highly entertaining). He's someone who, having just met him, I'd rather like to hang out with. He's not entirely insane, but has his moments of pure wackiness. He's got a lot of cool ideas, and he's great fun to talk to. I rather look forward to knowing more cool things, actually. *grins*

[livejournal.com profile] obsessed1 is nuts. She's currently writing a founder-fic that's highly entertaining. She also posts songs which are lovely to listen to. She's got a fantastic sense of humor, and recounts events in a screamingly hilarious manner. She's complimentary to her friends, talks nicely about people she knows, rants entertainingly about people she works/ed with, and recounted the Chronicles of the Guy on the Couch for a while. She's amazingly creative, and productive, and can occasionally produce smut upon begging (I'm waiting! *taps foot impatiently*). She occasionally makes lovely icons that she leaves up for grabs. She also likes T.S. Eliot, and isn't shy about admitting that she hasn't necessarily analyzed all parts of Prufrock, and this is a view I appreciate more and more. She's unique, intelligent, funny, kind, and generally one of my favorite LJ people.

That said: Movie night was great fun. Next Sunday: Get Real and Edge of Seventeen, which [livejournal.com profile] montrealais said he'd get a hold of. I've not seen the first in quite some time, and I've never seen the second, so it should be fun. Oh, and Buffy-night is on Friday, due to my having been requested for supper with my French History class (it's the prof's last class of his last semester, and he's a dear. Hence, supper. *nods*). And that protest on the 30th? Am there. Am so there that I'm already leaving. And, well, planning on writing all my essays in advance. If at all possible.
