Nov. 23rd, 2004 09:36 pmFinally, the day ended rather better than I'd expected.
I finished bullshitting that essay, to start with. And so, for that class, I've a 250-word blurb to hand in with my reading journal, and I'm done. Everything. No final.
And so, I went to the McGill NDP office to sign up for a spot on that bus to Ottawa next week. And found
montrealais there, ending his shift. So, naturally, going home and actually doing the reading for one of next week's essays was not a high priority. We ended up going for coffee... which turned into supper... which turned into a walk along the bridge, and through Ile St-Helene (and this damn LJ won't support accents, for some reason). Which turned into my needing to go back to the Kilo so as to fetch the bus pass and pager that had fallen out of my coat pockets. But it was lovely, and I had a rather nice time. I also know a lot of places I've got to go back to when the weather is a wee bit warmer.
James? Are you going to come to Ottawa? And is anyone else here going?
Now. Since I really should be doing some schoolwork, the obvious choice is procrastination. LJ whore, I am.
