foi_nefasteFirst of all, I would like to proclaim that my cousin is marvelous, wonderful, and utterly terrific. And that, from now on, keys will be put into bags instead of pockets, so that they do not fall out of said pockets and into the snow somewhere. Especially when the spare key is inside the apartment. Thus saving me from calling my cousin, who is in possession of my other key. And she is wonderful, and bailed me out, and I can now get into my apartment. Yes, I am pleased. Pleased enough to promise to babysit her son. Which, while he's a hyperactive three-year-old, she earned.
Also, I'd like to thank Anne, Mik, JB, and Sam, who got me those DVDs I've been wanting. Thanks, people - I know I've said it before, but I've been watching them... and damn, I'm in love. With the storyline, of course. *nods*
Oh, and I'm having a small-ish get-together for my birthday tomorrow night. Nothing fancy, not to many people... but if you guys (James, most specifically) feel like showing up, you're quite welcome to. Just let me know.
And, on a more general note, to people I hang out with regularly... You've heard about my general habit of forgetting to eat, right? The 'have a cup of coffee, forget breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and raise head around 9 in the evening wondering why the world is woozy' thing I've been doing the past few months? Could you occasionally browbeat me into remembering that strange thing known as a meal? Because this seriously can not be good for me.
