foi_nefasteMy papers are officially driving me insane. Out of my mind. Clinically nuts. However you want to say it, I'm quite sure it'll apply. It's a bloody mess is what this is. But it will all get done. It will have to. Somehow. Although, at the moment, I can't even bring myself to care enough to panic - I mentioned before that there's only so much time one can panic for before lapsing into a state of complete and blissful don't-give-a-fuck-ness, right? I'm currently wallowing in it, and feeling somewhat better than I otherwise would.
That said, it is, naturally, while I have piles and piles and piles of work to do that I get inspiration for various stories. Which is incredibly annoying. And more than slightly tempting.
And I will probably be spending part of the summer in Toronto, due to work, and my boss thinking I'm fantastic (which is always nice to hear), and a promotion, and the woman in charge of organizing three Canadian committees going on vacation for a wee bit and needing someone to take over her job, and... yeah. I'm pleased, if not completely sure as to how I'm going to manage THIS one. Still, I'm going to try to see if I really need to stay in Toronto for so long. 'cause, while I'd like to stay with Mike and Melanie for a while, it's probably not the best of ideas to be there for over a month, y'know? So, yeah. We'll see.
