foi_nefastePresentation this morning. On top of an almost-all-nighter (an hour and a half of sleep does not count as a night, dammit). Unhappily enough, I seem to have lost any and all command of the English language. Which, since I'm more fluent in English than in French, is not a recommendable state. Furthermore, this only happens when I'm profoundly exhausted, and, at the moment, I'm leaning more towards about-to-drop-dead. I'm looking forward to indecent amounts of sleep this weekend, I swear I am. And, well, seeing actual people. 'cause, yay, it gives me the impression that I've got a social life.
As for that presentation, though? I'm only thankful that only half the class showed up, and that it's not worth much, 'cause, oh dear, it wasn't good. I knew what I wanted to say, but my grasp of grammar flew straight out the door, and I even (fuck help me) seemed to have a slight French accent. In English, dammit! Not fucking FAIR!
Right. And now, I'm going to finish that thrice-damned British History paper, run to McGill and hand it in, rush home, do dishes and laundry, take a shower (I've gotten to the point where I bribe myself with a shower. Not good), and crawl into bed, where I will hopefully sleep until tomorrow afternoon. 17 or 18 hours of sleep sounds altogether reasonable, right now.
Oh, and for the record? Straight people tying each other up is not an example of the 'homosexualisation of straight culture'. Just sayin'.
