Taken from [livejournal.com profile] felis_ultharus, of course. And finally getting around to it. So...

1) Total volume of music files on my computer:
2,31 Go. I'm not quite sure what that means, except that I've raided the music collections of too many friends.

2) The last CD I bought was...
Saul Williams - Amethyst Rock Star. Actually, I owned it before, but someone stepped on it and broke it in two, sooo... You know how the best spoken-word poetry is basically rap, but with beautiful lyrics and actual rhythm? He's interesting, he's a brilliant poet, and I love his songs.

3a) The last song I listened to before writing this was:
David Usher's St-Lawrence River

3b) Song playing right now:
Tori Amos - Past the Misison

4) Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me (in no order at all) are:

David Usher's 'St-Lawrence River'. It's slightly depressing, but so beautiful. And has been a favorite of mine since Etienne made me listen to it, so my thanks DEFINATELY go to him.

Moist's 'Ressurection'. Highschool angst music, which I listened to over and over and OVER again. And which, for some obscure reason, I still like.

Following [livejournal.com profile] felis_ultharus's trend, Pearl Jam's 'Jeremy', which saw me through some fairly rough times in highschool. Comfort song.

Rufus Wainright's cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'. Because the lyrics are amazing - so painful, and raw, but somehow about standing up in the most horrible situations. Maybe about devotion, maybe about faith, maybe about love... it can be read differently, but for some reason, I see comfort in it.

David Usher's 'f-train'. Which somehow manages to be about loss, and habit, and yet be somehow comforting. His songs usually ring that tone for me - the type of song that rips you open and exposes memories, but wraps them up so that they don't shatter.

5) Which 5 people are you passing the baton to, and why?

Well, most of my friends have already done this - but if anyone wants to take up the challenge, please, do go ahead!
