Fragments and Random Thoughts
Mar. 25th, 2003 09:07 pmI've gotten little italian candies that taste like lemon sherbet. They're rather lovely, and entirely delicious. 'm rather happy to have them, actually... Oh, and I've also got some that taste like ginger, and others like anise. Wonderful.
My girlfriend is here for the week. And she's absolutely lovely, as well. And, in the spirit of complete generosity, she has resolved to accompany me to my classes this week... which is rather fun, actually. The poor girl, though. We're not sure we'll continue this once she goes back to Toronto, though... because being 10 hours apart, and only seeing each other every 4-6 months, is getting to both of us. yes, I know people here've done worse... but we're not sure we can. Still, we're having a great deal of fun at the moment, so all is well.
've been accepted to McGill. While they're not offering me money, as Bishop's is, going there allows me to move out of the house this summer. Thus, my decision to go there. In addition to the fact that it's a rather good school, as well.
I managed to argue my sociology grade from an 82 to a 90, which is really altogether satisfactory. And rather impressive, as that teacher is known for being the most stubborn and idiotic teacher in the college. Which, really, is saying something.
Oh... and the neighbor's horse got loose two nights ago, and I woke up to find it in the rose garden. At 6 in the morning, it seems more like a hallucination than anything else, and is nearly enough to make me resolve to give up illicit substances. Or to take more. Second option was resolved upon, leading to an altogether satisfactory morning of classes, during which that idiotic football player attempted to follow me around. Why, just plain why won't these men get the message that, really, I've got a girlfriend, she's sitting right next to me, thanks, and I'm really not interested? *snort* These lumps are complete twits.
